Support the Museum

On January 1, 2022, our name changed to the Delaware Museum of Nature & Science. Our Museum Metamorphosis involves significant changes to our galleries so current and future generations will be inspired to explore the amazing world around us.

Please join us on this exciting journey of discovery! While we are closed to complete our transformation, you can help by donating to our Annual Fund or the Museum Metamorphosis Campaign.

Eastern Oysters (𝘊𝘳𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘢 𝘷𝘪𝘳𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘢) live in clusters, tucked into nooks and crannies and tightly wedged together. As they grow, their shells become gnarly and bent from pressing up against one another.
